BRITS SWAP SEX DRIVES FOR HARD DRIVES

Sex drives are being swapped for hard drives as a quarter of British couples admit to sleeping separately on a regular basis.

According to the results of a survey by The Sleep Council for National Bed Month (March), the British bed is in danger of becoming more of a communications hub than a place for sleep as eight out of 10 people boot up a variety of hi-tech gadgets before bedtime.

The survey, to discover how The Great British Bedtime is changing, found a glass of water and separate beds are replacing cocoa and cuddles at bedtime.

According to research, more than 50% of people cite the reason for replacing their old bed is that it’s broken! And Sleep Council research suggests another third replace their beds because their old one is uncomfortable. And with March being National Bed Month, there’s no time like the present to buy into a better night’s sleep, with a wealth of new designs and technologies to choose from.

GRUMPY OLD WOMEN

According to a new Sleep Council survey, 24% of men say they never wake up in a bad mood as opposed to only 14% of women. The fairer sex is also more likely to stay grumpier for longer with 13% of them staying in a bad mood for two to four hours (men 10%).
